PREPARING YOUR HOME TO SELL

• Clean every room, including closets and garage
  
• Remove clutter (this is a big one!) so buyers see the home, not your stuff. Pack away knick-knacks and family photos
  
• Repair wall cracks, touch-up paint on walls and outside the home. Paint colorful walls to a neutral color
  
• Remove excess furniture to make home appear larger
  
• Remove personal items and family photos, especially in master bedroom and bath
• Keep home clean, ready to show at a moment's notice
• Hide small valuable items, such as money, jewelry, prescription medicine
  
• Make sure your front entrance says "Look at me!"
  
• Trim dead tree limbs and shrubs. Keep yard mowed and weed-free
• Plant flowers in the front yard to add color and curb appeal
